When you pay your registration fee of €20 you will receive confirmation of your entry to
the Galway Bay 10 and a full set of race instructions which will advise you when and where to register and pick up your race pack and number. An unlimited amount of sponsorship cards will be available from the Galway Bay 10 office at 1890 400 200.

Celebration Evening
The Galway Bay 10 Celebration
evening will take place at the
finish line from 4.00pm. Run,
Walk or Crawl, this is your
chance to celebrate your achievement
and enjoy the music and craic
in the tented village.
Traffic/Car Parking
As the race start is close to
the city centre there are many
carparks nearby. There will
be heavy traffic restrictions
along the race route so it is
advisable not to drive to the
start area. See map for details.
Baggage
There will be changing areas
provided in the tented village
at the start/finish area. You
can leave your baggage in the
attended baggage area at the
start area. The Race Organisers
cannot be held responsible for
any items that you leave unattended.
Your baggage will be labelled
with your race number and will
be available for collection
at the finish.
Toilets
There will be toilet facilities at the start/finish area and and also at mile 6. All toilets will be signposted.
The Course
The Galway Bay 10 course is
mainly flat apart from some
short, testing climbs around
mile 3 and 4. Participants will
enjoy a ten mile tour of the
western side of the city which
takes in the famous Salthill
Promenade overlooking Galway
Bay twice. The start and finish
area is located at South Park
in the Claddagh which is a short
walk from Galway City Centre
where you will find plenty of
parking areas.
Mile Markers
There will be markers at every
mile.
Water and Aid Stations
There will be Water and Lucozade
Sport stations at Mile 3.5,
Mile 6, and Mile 8.
First Aid
Each aid station will be controlled
by Civil Defence volunteers
who have first aid training.
Please report all accidents
and emergencies to any Civil
Defence Volunteer who will notify
one of our Race Doctors.
